Ive got the 298mm Ba brakes, What needs to be done to fit the larger BF ones on? Is it just the discs or callipers swell? How hard is it to change callipers?

So I need the discs and calipers. I assume changing the callipers you need to disconnect the brake hoses, thus needing new fluid and to bleed the brakes? (hate bleeding brakes)

Is it a worthwhile upgrade with new DBA rotors and better pads, than the 298mm setup with DBA rotors and better pads? Is there a decent increase in braking?

The wobbles are comin back when braking so I'm up for some new rotors and pads soon and saw this thread.. Would be a cheap upgrade if I can get the bf calipers for a good price..

I have my previous BF front setup available for someone in or around Canberra. Ferodo pads, DBA 4000 rotors and braided lines. No need to change them other than I wanted the C6 calipers. I have changed the front setup a few times without ever wearing out a rotor or pad.

They were powder coated red/black like the C6 setup. One got some brake fluid on OT when they changed them over which was annoying.

after speaking to Matt from race brakes you cant change the BF2 rear solids easily, slotted but not vented DBAs will fit but he said if wanting the vented rears you may need a caliper upgrade:

"The rear solid disc can be replaced with a slotted or xdrilled disc rotor

but not the vented rotor as it is physically larger in size. The only way to

upgrade to the vented disc is to also upgrade the calipers and hoses.

The 42107 is still the correct part number but the previous rotors were

slotted in the 6X6 wiper slot design and the new product has a new style of

slotting which is called the T3."

Also, if wanting to upgrade to 4piston front caliper will they still fit onto the RDA 321mm or only the DBA t3?
