Yeah your probably right I meant why not just go full stainless, but if it changes the note enough then I suppose you could.

ahhh, looks like I got my info wrong, it seems stainless dump pipes can get coated

So it might bring it to around the same price as a stainless then, just depends on which works better then.

ben, I have a stainless dump.

considering getting it ceramic coated.

any pros, cons that you can advise me on?

I have heard stainless is tinny, but only time ive seen and heard first hand is on a gen 3 commo and its tinny as, I can get a mild steel system for fair bit less than s/s and im lookin at full turbo back exhaust, probs in a dual 2.25" I think?? or 2.5"

I'd be going at least twin 2.5".. From having both mild and stainless systems on an NA XT and a WRX.. I'd be choosing mild to the rear muffler and stainless for looks from there..
