To answer Rob, look up the mad cow program. This is generally used after a 5x5 program and can allow you to make progress by doing less reps.

 

To reach ones maximum strength you will need to do some high rep work to build the size of the muscle. 

 

A bigger muscle has greater potential for strength.

I usually only start eating about midday. Just a coffee and shake for breakfast. 

 

If I had a proper breakfast I'd be fat as hell.

nah, just cbf with breakfast... no actual diet plan - I eat what I want, as long as it's reasonbly high in calories around gym days.

 

Diet is just one part of the whole "fitness" deal that I really cannot be farked with :spoton:
