Using mainly Caltex Eflex or United!

4 Caltex sites with E85 within 20 mins of my house is real handy!

Where abouts in Sydney are there E85 sites? I haven't been able to find a single one out there yet. I just assumed NSW didn't get it due to the imminent mandatory E10 and the current Ethanol shortages...

Look on caltex site under trip planner and select eflex. Then that will show the ones closest to u. There are about 9 sites from memory and 2 or 3 united sites. There also a new site opening up at moorebank that appears to be a bio site too. Failing that u can if you like buy some drums of sucrogen.

Where is this new site Matt?

I fill up at Moorebank (Cnr Nuwarra and Milperra), is this the one or is there another opening up close by?

You will find that if your tuned with e85 and your putting in united which is what you claimed to be e90, you will be running a bit leaner on your afr's.

anyone tuning on e85 will allow for this either way( up /down) if there a good tuner

just like 98 tune gotta alow for differances ( safety margin)

I have been running E85 for well over a year now with no problems except cold starts in the morning.

Currently back on 100.

Caltex have the summer/winter mix and down to as low as E65 from what I have heard.

United sit on E85. No summer/winter mix. This is better than the Caltex fuel but hard starts.

Oringinally done by Dion.

Cheers

5 months on Caltex e-flex and love it, will be installing a wideband but the last

4 times I have tested it has resulted in 71%-73%, I'm hoping it stays that way.

I will be doing a United tune so that way I can switch between an 85% and a 70%.
