Yeah I bought a set of Phillips 4000k Bluevision and they are like having your standard foglights and high beams on.

8000k sound like retina burners.

4000k or 8000k are not brightness indicators. they are colour temp ratings.

they have little to do with brightness.

eg:

3500k- warm white-

6000k- daylight

9000k purple etc

the higher the number, the whiter the light- then the more colourful the light after 6500k or so.

also over 6000k the light starts to get weaker. but prettier. :eyebrows:
