35% is the general legal limit, but the Pits told me they will actually let 30% slide. that's for front side windows. you are allowed darker on rear windows. ive got 20% on my rear and pillar windoes and 30ish on my fronts.

yeah, cops will always ipick on a few, will never be able to get all of the ppl on a cruze.

Nice ride btw, good to see it out finally. If you can get the tint checked before pitting the car you might find it's not that dark, my friend at work said a cop measured his with the doohickey and said 22%, when he got to the pits it was the same as the spec of the tint said, which was 40%! Roadside testers suck, it seems.
