Hub Centric Rings

Recommended Posts

Just in case anyone else reads this, it's 70.1 on B series Falcons not 70.5.

Are FGs different?  Or is there enough wiggle room in 0.4mm that it doesn't matter?

Finding conflicting reports over on AFF about all Falcons in fact being 70.5 as well...but plenty of people saying 70.1mm too.

Very confusion!

I guess you can use either?  If 70.1 ID rings fit I'd prefer to use that since it's less room for them to move.

Has anyone tried to use 70.1 and had them not fit over the hub would be a good question.

After chatting to the local shop who also thought 70.1 at first before calling their suppliers, I'm buying some Nylon (plastic) 70.5mm ID very shortly and fitting the wheels this arvo so fingers crossed!

Plastic 70.1 would stretch over 70.5 I imagine.  Might make them crack more easily...but I'm ordering a metal set from online anyway for permanent use once I'm happy that the 70.5 are snug.
