Wondering if anyone has heard a thing about a drag track for Canberra (Wakefield??).

Such a bummer the 1/8th mile is sitting, rotting away. I had a great old time there in my rotaries back in the day.

I haven't heard anything. Can't expect any support from the current government. They've renegged on their promises (gee, that was a surprise) and we're stuck with nothing for now.

We were hoodwinked at the last election so I think it's time for a change......Perth has a fantastic Motorplex, and I think it's high time we got one of those too. I went there last Xmas and had a ball (spectating). It would be such an asset for the region too.

Spent many nights at Canberra dragway. Remember the last meet before they shut it down... I like how they used the excuse that they were going to use the strip to expand the airport to support international flights, but never did.

Doubt its going to re-open any time soon.

I have still got a big trophy at the old mans house from winning one of the meets.

Took off in the RX4, saw old mate in lane 1's undercarriage (LH Torana) as it wheel standed. I thought "sh*t that thing goes!".

Then nice red light!

Harry "hard" man went on afterwards to tell me I didn't win, he lost! Man some dudes get way too carried away.
