Hi Guys,

Does battery disconnection require the radio PIN to be used to get it working again after the job? I looked through the docs I got when I bought the car and cant find the radio PIN. Any advice?

So when I wrote the guide had a BA T back in 2011.  Have a FG F6 now and I can reach into the socket from behind through the Growler airbox (Left Hand Light) but buggered if I can get the AMP connector off the metal tines of the globe easily.  Anyone know if there is a tool that squeezes the AMP connector so it comes off easily for the H4 globe which is the main globe I am trying to replace?

Or if there is a certain technique to it - please share.  On the BA might have just been a bit looser or I had easier access to it.

I have a battery relocation, but I still had to take the lid off my airbox to access the drivers side light

maybe you need to remove your battery for easier access?

I do remember that it was a bit of a struggle putting the clip back on, it came off with minimal bodily contortion

maybe  longnose pliers and a mirror?

Edit: I do have long fingers though, and from memory, I think your fingers are of the short and stubby variety :aaggl:

Well this thread saved me again today.  Had to change out my 2 headlights on the F6(well one but decided to do both to match) and it's really amazing what you forget :roflmbo: Since I had the air filter out decided to K&N clean it in preparation for Snowy's cruise in November
