hey guys, dunno if its been asked but has anyone modified their standard plenum so the throttle body is facing the front of the engine bay to minimise piping in the bay? my mate wants to do it so he wants to see if anyone has done it and how they went about doing it.

Cheers guys.

:stupid: Paid.. In Full.

Has been done like once or twice that I know of in the past 9 years, so I gather it's not worth it.

yeh he wants to keep the standard looking plenum cuz his dad (whos a cop) told him its illegal to have an aftermarket one.

and he was more thinking of putting it at the end of the plenum instead of the middle.

Then keep it standard :fool:

I reckon there would be marginal gains if that over leaving it standard and way less then a good aftermarket one so why bother? Plus it's probably less legal to start hacking up factory gear. The factory one has held power in the 500's so how much do you want?
