Hi all..

Im going to build a tray for my new fg XR6T and am wondering if the mounting

points are the same for an fg as they are for a ba/bf.

I ask because a friend has an alloy tray in his garage off a ba and I want to

build mine and just take the mounting positions from it.

Does anyone know if I will run into any problems doing this?

Cheers...

-Ben

Opinions please....

Designing my tray build...

These ones I have borrowed heavily from smacxr8(pictured) from AFF cause it looks shuuweet...

There are subtle changes...

It's nice, just don't like where the exhaust is.

In thinking about doing a tray back, got a mate selling a cut down one cheap as I might try out.

Twin Stacks.. I actually saw a BF one Tonner with this feature recently.

All jokes aside, that's a nice tray. The one on my BF one tonner is looooong. I have a huge Diamond T box attached at the head board and I can still lay full length on my tray.

I could maybe box in the entire rear chassis and leafs and all hiding all the uglies like spare tire nd sh*t... maybe somehow run some mirror polished pipes and mufflers up the side of that.

You guys all might call me gay for saying this, but I really like the old school looking trays, I've seen some great custom ones with wooden floors (like polished boards) I rekon they look the best, always have.

I rekon the tough FG front would be able to pull that off.

commence *beep* bashing! :)
