We tuned the Ute today and made 607rwks with 33psi running Methanol.. through a Turbo 400 with a big stall which was slipping heaps. Have a tighter 1 ordered.

Great to drive and hooked up well :3gears: considering the hot and hummid weather :crybaby: have to organize some rims/rubber and get it down the strip. If you would like to know anything about this rig feel free to ask :beerchug: or Prior info is in the 400/300 club, some links

f*ck the graph looks flat and smooth? Whats it like to drive? :beerchug:

Edit: do graphs look different (smoother) if power is mapped against wheel speed opposed to rpm?

Mate is still has good manors and just throws you into the back for the seat on about half throttle much more than that :3gears: , especially if taking off in 3rd.

Dave does know how to tune these things. Mick posted up a run on Utube here is the link -

Well done Chad that's getting pretty serious especially through that box and stall.

Two 800hp cars in consecutive days I think we know who the man is and more to come from both.

What an animal. Your fuel system is an unbelievable bit of gear.

Congrats Chad. It'd certainly be a sight seeing the 2 purple utes (yours and Kents) run side by side.

Are you both competing this weekend?

Cheers for that GENTS it's getting there hey... :turboboink: would of loved to of run it this weekend, especially with Kent's beast ready to smash some more records :buttrock: but it's not ready yet, At least the 5 point harness is going in on Friday.

Did have plans up untill this morning to take it down to Summer Nats but time is not on our side with the NEW Stall converter :w00t2: and more Tuning to be knocked over. The converter when under power is just flaring to the limiter :omg: ,with the box being a T400 the stall has to be hand made to half GM and Ford so we are going from a 9" converter to a 10.5", the existing one cannot be tightened up to what we want. Heres a few more Vid's Mick has put up.

Well Tray your power figure is sweet !! We should be right for more. You know what its like when you head up around these figures with everything having to be right on the day which was not the case with this round for tuning.. we are having a tinker then re-load time.

OK - Would like to see into 4 figures for HP.

Ran it for the first time with this set up in street trim/pump fuel and found a few issues which are being sorted. With the stall flaring on the dyno it was crappy on the track and wow was it a warm night up in Townsville. Changing from penrite sharp shift to Castrol Tranzmax z and the cooler/fan is going from behind the front bar to under the tray, might have to put another cooler in, see how it lines up on the 8th Jan when the track is rolling again. Still have another converter on order. No records were set on the night but fun was had with alot of unseen racers turning up for this meet which incorporated a show an shine and 30 mile cruise. :beerchug:
