I was advised with my particular tyres do do a decent burnout ("get angry with them"). I only managed a 2.09 anyway, I'm not great at launches. 30PSI and start at about 1400rpm was the advice, not sure what RPM I launched at when I ran the 11 though, too excited once the tree starts hahaha. Think it was 1500 give or take 100rpm. Oh and I forgot to let the pressure down, I run 36PSI rear on the road, mighta been 35 on the run.

Thanks Steve, ordered some 18 inch ET Street Radial2's, but They will be a week or two away, so I'm going to "get angry" with my street tyres and get them nice and warm/ sticky for a run on Wednesday night....

So see how it goes..

Well, had a run tonight at Willowbank...

After snatching a handfull of 12 second slips, the last run of the night proved to be the winner as things just came together nicely...

Running nothing more than Federal street Tyres "SS 595's 245/40/18"

I Managed to pull an 11.49et @ 123.0 MPH out of the hat,

with a sixty foot of 1.95 seconds.

I usually run BP ultimate, but tonight switched to Mobile 98Pulp.

I ran with the RDP "Race Gear Box tune" which is a similar tune that Lee Runs in the 10 second RDP FG.

It is a 483 Rwhp race tune.. admittedly The tyres struggled with traction all night....so I wonder If there are better times once I run with M/T et radials...

Has anyone got an idea how my time will improve with semi slicks?

Cheers..

Excellent work!

I think semi's might be good for 0.5 or maybe more if you can get that 60 footer down to 1.7 or less - could be thinking of full slicks though. That's all still a black art to me anyway :)
