Hi all, 18th of August at WSID a lane has been reserved for fordxr6turbo members and friends. :sleepystuff:

Basic information

• Maximum of 20 cars • Competitor entry fee $50; Second driver entry fee $40 (where a friend shares driving a vehicle) • P-plate drivers permitted; L-plate drivers not permitted • Two (2) crew members permitted per vehicle at $20 each • All vehicles required to be scrutineered and must have a full and operational muffler system • Driver requirements:

␣ Current driver’s licence ␣ Long pants (jeans for example – no nylon-based tracksuit pants) ␣ Long-sleeved upper garment (sloppy joe, jacket or similar – no nylon-based tracksuit tops) ␣ Enclosed shoes (no thongs, sandals or slip-on shoes) ␣ Approved helmet (see required helmet Standards below) ␣ Crew members must wear fully enclosed shoes and sleeved top (open-toed shoes and singlets not

permitted near the start line area) • Competitor Gate opens 4:30pm; Spectator Gate opens 5:00pm; Racing from 6:00pm – 10:00pm • Also... remember to bring a pen to complete your entry form.

Procedure

1. Where possible, members should arrange to arrive at Sydney Dragway together as a group

2. Pay entry fee, receive entry form and event tickets

3. Drive into pit/paddock and select an area where you can park together as a group

4. Be sure to read the information leaflet “Understanding the Basics” for driver safety

5. Complete entry forms while in the pit/paddock area, then walk to registration (in scrutineering building) with your helmet, completed entry form, event ticket and driver’s licence

6. Registration officials will check your paperwork and licence, help you sign the indemnities and issue the appropriate wristband in exchange for your event ticket

7. Once processed through registration, return to your vehicle and slowly drive it around to the scrutineering building via staging lane 6 (please do not leave your vehicle unattended)

8. Scrutineers will check the general roadworthiness of vehicle (steering, brakes, tyres, no fluid leaks, and so on), write your temporary race number on the windscreen and rear window, and affix a run sticker to the windscreen to record the number of runs you have during the night. Another window sticker will be applied so that officials recognise you as a club member or part of a specific group with a reserved staging lane

9. Now slowly drive out of scrutineering, down the pit/paddock access road and join the end of your assigned staging lane ahead of a start to the night’s racing.
