Haha looks like you have been bottling something up for a while.

I was just saying cause my car was tuned on mobil fuel. So in the back of my head it will always seem to go better on mobil fuel.

yes I know....

I have used other fuel's and it just wasnt the same :beerchug:

Sorry in advance for the vague post.. But whats wrong with BP?

Yes I realise they mucked up badly of Mexico but has there been a drop in quality of fuel being produced? Or are some people just not going there purely from a moral point of view?

Who is saying Caltex is no good? Lately I mainly use mobil but use Caltex too when more convenient and I never noticed a problem, stoped using shell as car feels better on mobil or caltex than shell, it could all be in my head but for whatever reason it feels like it's running better on those too...

BP Ultimate is consistant - I get good mileage and good power with BP.

Shell V-power is hit and miss - Tends to increase consumption on shell, but feels the same. Sometimes sluggish though.

Caltex Vortex - Same as shell. Heard its dirty fuel.

Mobil - Never used.

No matter BP have done in the Gulf, I'll still use their fuel. My 60 odd litres every couple of weeks isnt going to mean a thing to them so why use lower quality fuel just so I can feel like im saving the whales?

As for 7-11, I wont ever bother, if I HAVE to, I'll flash back to stock power...

I have used caltex twice in my old car and I lost 100km to the tank so I only fill up at the same two bps unless I am away - have noticed that I lose fuel economy if I fill up at a servo in and around the middle of brisbane or the gold coast though - makes you wonder about dodgey fuel practises at servos dont it
