I have spoken to a supplier who does plastic resin B series XR8 bonnets, of which the quality looks great, about doing a FG bonnet and we should have the mould ready to go shortly. I sent one over to RIXT in WA but we were not 100% happy with the work that was required to get it to sit flush and even (not to mention the fact it arrived damaged). I am about to have that particular bonnet sent to a fibreglass fabricator who will get that bonnet repaired and ready to go on my car. Obviously the non-genuine steel bonnets I see on fleabay are nowhere near as much- but what are the quality like compared to the genuine items??
