I did see you and your car, just had to hang out with my mates and one of their VE utes.

Your car looks awesome!

It was my mate's first time ever at the track, and he's only had the ute for a month straight off the showroom floor.

His ute is an SS-V 6.0 with 6 speed manual. Ran it dead stock last night. All we did was took out the air filter element and dropped the tyre pressures down to 17psi.

1st run he missed 2nd gear and ran a 15.1

2nd run he stalled it off the line and pulled a flat 16 - Nice! lol

3rd run he got 13.5

4th run was a 13.8

Finally I am ready to take the car out to WSID to see what time it will run. At this stage I am just going to run it on pump gas to see what it can do. After I finish fitting the fuel cell and other bits and pieces I will put some race fuel in it and see how it goes.

What do you guys think that I will run?? Mods are as listed in my sig. I won't be running it off the transbrake this time just off the foot brake.

Anybody going to come out and watch??

should do 11s provided traction is good

I improved my PB from 11.351 to 11.307 its not much but its something.

I was happy with my consistency last night with, 11.373, 11.331 and 11.307.

I still have room to move on my 60' with a best of 1.769.

That is consistent ... well done.

What about the other guys last night. Any other numbers?

Was a good night. Keen for more after another tune.

I ran a PB of 12.31 @ 111mph.

I got Rhys' second run and Johns 11.6 and 11.3 runs on video

Dunno how to get them to you though.

Well done Rob ... getting down close to the 11s bracket on the street tyres in a manual is no easy feat.

Can you post the videos up on youtube?

I will try and get out again in a couple of weeks... Those Maxxis are still ok.
