Ran a 12.851 @ 113MPH, 60' footer 2.046. My previous best was 12.971 @ 114MPH so there is definately an improvment. There was also major traction issues, haha. I still can't get this manual launching perfect quite yet. I think with my everyday tyres (not the best tyres by any means) I should be able to get a 12.6 with more practice.

yer, definately going down next week with these temps, might go on mystery monday see if I can beat me stock time, didnt have my jack and couldnt be arsed last night.

torquen- what air density altitude did it show on your timeslip (I havent had a chance at anything below 250meters yet), need a bit of practice with your launch on some deserted private roads, antilag seem good at finding them. bit odd though that your mph was lower than it was from bpt, what was your 60 foot time for the 12.971 @ 114MPH.

sounds mint though, cat/dump makes it sound a lot nicer

Your not wrong it was fricken cold last night!

air density altitude was 82.0M (269.1 ft). Yes I just couldnt quite stick a good one last night, either bogged it or slipped it way to fast and ended up in wheelspin.

Yeh I noticed the MPH was lower to? most runs where about 1-2mph lower (could be due to when im changing gears, I really need to study the dyno chart and find the optimum point). 60' for my 12.9 run with the BPT tune was 2.281, but that was the main problem with that tune, torque and power came on so late you couldnt get a decent 60'. When in was running the bpt tune I was geating way better launches than last night and still couldnt crack a better 60' than 2.2. The run I did of 12.8 last night I stuffed my 1st to 2nd change, didnt depress the clutch all the way and it took a little force to get it into 2nd.

Is anyone going to WAW tomorrow night? It looks like conditions will be ideal....

Also, do any of the regulars know if you are allowed to run with your tail gate down? And if now, will any of the officials be concerned if you remove the tailgate altogether?

I'm hoping to take my manual BF ute for a spin and a bit of fun. :innocent:

tail gate down is a waste of time, makes 1/2 of 0.1 of a nineth of f*ckall difference

.........last year officials were closing them anyway.
