Sorry to drag this up, but will FG XR6 ute springs and shocks fit into a BA XR6 ute? I can get hold of some "very" low ks FG XR6 gear.

Rear is all the same, front will not work.

Edit: Technically speaking the springs will work, as in they will fit into the front struts however they will be waayyyyyyyy to short and you might as well not run any springs....So don't do it.

As mentioned though, the rear springs and shocks will fit just fine

Thanks. What if I used the whole front strut off the FG? No fit?? Not worried about the rear springs, only fitted new ones recently.

I currently have stock fg xr6t front springs on my bf2 , it sits about 315mm from center of hub to middle of arch which is abit to low for my liking lol , I know a few have put ba bf coilovers in there late mk2 with no probs , but I might be able to get a cheap set of fg coil overs . so the question is can I raise with coil overs or only go lower as I would like an extra 20 mm in height or will it just be safe to keep an eye out for b series style , cheers

The coilovers from an FG won't fit as the lower bracket is narrower on the FG compared to B series.

Keep an eye out for B-Series coilovers or get a set of springs that suit your struts ie KFFL-53SL or the like
