Went down the coast and came back tuesday arvo (600ks). Unpacked the car and a few hours later decided to go into town.

When im in town the brake pedal starts to go away, fade. I pull over and find that the right rear has a brake fluid leak. Drive the car home and park it

Few days later I pull the right rear wheel off to find that the brake line has been rubbing on the inside of the rim. Its rubbed through the spring that surrounds the line and rubbed throught the rubber.

Now the brake line sits in a little bracket and due to where the bracket was currently located it happened.

Now what I think has happened is when ive had the wheel alignemnt done rather than keeping the bracket in its original position they have let it turn when they have done up the bolt.

I took some photos but I can never up load them forum wont let me

Now the bracket in question should sit horizontal with the line been closest to the centre of the car. If the bracket is vertical then you got problems.

So ppl if youve ever had a wheel alignemnt check your rear lines

Robbo,

This is a mechanical FU not a steering alighment problem..

Falcons that do hard work need a wheel alignment every 5000k's to run true....

Accept it if you buy one... Your problem has nothing to do with a wheel alignment

I know its got nothing to do with the alignement. What I said was that when they have done the alignment, when they have tightened or loosened a bolt the bracket has moved with it

haha, that bracket cant spin when you do the bolt up, you have to undo the bold and slide the bracket off to turn it around so they've obviously put it on the wrong way and havent reslised. Important thing to check,
