After getting a little happy the other night and having a good go at a big set of donuts ( on a private rd of course ) I noticed that my power steering was basically not performing at all, after this little performance. After checking belts, pump, pulley, fluid, steering arms etc etc and racking my brain for a few hours, I finally realsied the memo sent out by Ford a while ago Re: Power Steering hoses failing on cars with large diameter rims.Anyway, car is booked into Ford to have the hoses replaced and system bled.Im just wondering if this fixes the problem or is it a bandaid solution ?Is there any after market products for this ?Cheers,Chad. Otherwise you could look into an aftermarket option, not sure if you could get a powersteering specialist to make up something
