F6 Oil Leak

Hi all.

I have a BA F6, and is leaking alot of oil from the turbo. I pulled the pipe off from the underbattery to the turbo and found quite alot of oil.

The car still spools up normal .. does not blow any smoke, I have checked the hose from the rocker cover to the turbo intake and found no oil thinking it might be blow by.

Anyone had this problem before?? If it was a seal, shouldnt it blow alot of smoke?

mine generally has about 10-15ml of oil sitting in the inlet of the turbo when I remove the intake pipe

I was told that when my cooler was installed, the standard cooler had alot of oil sitting in there...?

I dont think this is normal..

be lucky its not an FG, they lea from the block

I wouldnt worry to much. modern turbos pass a small amount of oil past the seals, then it sits in the low spots in the intake piping. as long as it doesnt go making funny noises it should be ok! buts that's just my opinion

What leak from the block?

I've done 10000kms and haven't got any leaks anywhere.
