Why dont you pop the bonnet open to let her cool. My XY gets parked in a shed,come back 6hours later and you can still feel the warmth,so I know what you saying.

I agree with this method as well. I usually pop the bonnet catch when I park it in the garage after a long run, just to let the heat out.

Plus it means the garage can double as a sauna, adding versatility to Casa del Trumpy.

:o The topic has been raised before, found it on a search. However. I am being told by a performance shop that they should be installed on a stock XR6 Turbo. After reading this topic I found, and thinking about it myself, (in limited knowledge), I came to the conclusion that they aren't needed, am I wrong? If they were, Ford/FPV would have fitted them? :huh:
