I've been looking to get a turbo timer for a while, couldn't find much info on the site. I've got alot of mixed reactions from people some saying there a good way of looking after your turbo at a small cost but others say the XR6 T's didn't come out with them so you don't need them. Is it worth it and if so does anyone recommend a good one for the T's

Cheers Dillon

not necessary from what I understand from reading the threads on this site.

search for 'timer' will show alot of threads I think, as the question is asked every couple of months.

Its not needed in a T because of the Thermo Syphon which cools the turbo after you turn the car off.

They are definitely good for 'wang' factor though!

Just dont thrash your car then park it straight away. General rule of thumb just drive it sensible for the last few minutes of your trip. I always just let mine sit there in park for about 10 seconds too just out of habit (probably doesnt do anything)

If a plane is on a conveyor belt, and the belt moves in the direction opposite to the plane’s travel at an equal and opposing speed - will the plane take off?

I'm guessing it wont lift up as there is no air flow above/under the wings to create lift. (Assuming its stationary at the start)

With no actual forward motion there is no lift so I'd say No
