Gonna put this here cos why not? Also if someone uses the search bar it'll come up.

I received some info courtesy of Nason head office today and thought I'd share it.

Nason sources barra valves from a supplier. They have a single listing that shows exhaust valves suitable for na and turbo. While the dimensions for the na and turbo valves are identical, as must of us know the turbo valves are different than the na valves in the material composition.

The exhaust valves that Nason list are not the inconel valves that are in factory turbo barras.

Imo they are not suitable for performance turbo applications, however would be fine for a stock turbo application.

So yerp, had to suss this out myself this week and apparently it's the first enquiry they've had in the Adelaide branch. I couldn't find anything else online regarding this, so hopefully this post will help someone looking for this specific bit of info.

Yes Ferrea has the good stuff that's for sure. At up to $90 per valve for the barra, it's a hefty price and that's not even the top of the line available from Ferrea.

You’ll understand why the Full HP Junkie head we fitted to the race ute was a big justification price wise but when you break it all down it’s actually not a bad price point as is all the top end products.

Chits just expensive to go really fast
