Your lease does not expire until 14/05/2023 and you are under no obligation to vacate until then. They have asked that if you wish you may move out any time without penalty. Which we believed was fair. Its not a brick and mortar house, all drywall. Number of issues they don't wanna fix. Their argument was that the rentals in the area, for similar properties, were upwards of $520/week. Beautiful, new houses, brick and mortar. How can you compare. We ended with $505/week and only 6 month lease, couldn't do 1 year. I think we're just gonna bust our balls and buy before May 23. Had a heated discussion about selling the car to do it. Dunno if I'ma win the argument 🤣 All up real sh*t situation.
