It's a 10.5kw system using Canadian Solar 300W split cell solar panels with a Fronius 8.2kw inverter. Including some extra brackets it's a touch over 9k installed. It's just over 2k more than the cheap one so I think we'll get the higher quality system. We still get the buy back rates through our retailer so it should all be sweet! Just waiting for the council to call me back about the chimney and then it's full steam ahead!..well probably...it'll all happen after xmas more than likely. If so I would recommend looking at the SolarEdge HD Wave inverter (the one I have) and optimised versions of the panels you have from that quote (the actual panels I have). Advantage being that panels don't need to match with that setup, so if one sh!ts the bed a few years and you can't get the same panel it doesn't matter, just jam something different up there and move on with your life.
