Practically nothing should be audible on stock piping. On turboside it should be a touch louder, but not metal scrapey.

I'm guessing the noise I hear is the oiled ball bearings rolling.  It's been like it from the early days and I have pretty much stock piping, only cold side is changed.

my old BF's turbo noise sounds exactly what  DISCO STIG has said.

 

however I reckon its a fine line between normal and stuffed as my old BA it wasn't long between it being silent to turbo having a horrible noise on shutdown and needing replacement. was within a few weeks.

Mine can be heard as well, not scrapey scrapey.. just yeah I suppose bearing noise with a turbo side.

 

I thought disco stig was stripes misses
