Hi All,

In the interests of keeping my sideways behaviour off the round-a-bouts here in the ACT, I have decided to have a run out at the Sutton Rd Driver training center - more specifically on their skid pan.

Me and a few mates are planning on going to the public day on the 17th of May, but if there is suitable interest from here and from them - we might be able to book a private day depending on numbers.

It is actually a half-day session (If we just go to the public one - morning or arvo) and cost $125 (less if there is a massive group, private day, etc)

It includes an introduction to drifting, one-on-one coaching, free time out on the skid pan and some drinks. (depending on numbers I might do a BBQ also)

All the detailed info is available here: http://www.fifthgear.com.au/skidanddrift.html

It could be a good chance for the ACT 'T' crew to catch up and test their skills, anyone is welcome however.

Let me know if anyone is interested and if there is heaps of us, I will get onto booking a private day which will provide us with more time out there looking out our side windows.

Cheers,

- Robbo :spoton:

(P.S - mods - can this please be moved to the ACT cruise section. I can't start a new post in there for some reason ...????)

Alright ACT / QBN peoples.... It's time we got together for a Skid pan day at Sutton Rd driver training centre. http://www.fifthgear.com.au/skidpan.php

Haven't got a date in mind yet, but it won't be for AT LEAST a month or two I'd say due to bookings etc.

I think the morning session is better, but the arvo has it's upside too.... so I'd be up for a full day if we can get the numbers, or whatever. I've got 2 mates with Scooby Doo's who would be keen aswell, mix it up a bit. It's not strictly an XR6T event... but it would be nice hey if we had a good turnout of the T's.

I'll start the list

I'm interested but depends on which weekend.

I've only just picked up a Xr6t so knowing how to handle the thing in the wet will do me a world of good

slide6T + Angry

Although I've had my fair share of dodgy moments in the wet in my car I rekon there's heaps to learn at these events.

As said before yeah not sure on weekend date but it's good to see the interest.

Will see how it goes over the next week or two and float some possible dates then.

Nick

Hey Nick,

I am also interested in the day.. But will need to wait till you post some possible dates, before I will be able to confirm.

Will be good to finally put a face to some of the names on the forum.

Cheers Tony.
