Hi Everyone

I have started a club for car enthusiest in Canberra.

Its called the Canberra Drag Racing Club

The main purpose of the club is for car and drag racing enthusiest to get together once a month and go for a cruise etc.

Also every 2 or 3 months we will be organising events, such as track days, hiring out WSID for drag days and Hill Climbs here in Canberra.

There are requirements that your car has to meet in order to gain membership to the club but I can provide all that if your interested. All cars are welcome, not just fords, as long as they meet our standards we dont care what make it is.

So far we have 25 members (comprising of ANDRA tech inspectors, well know performance shops and well known drag racers) and we are encourging new members to apply as we would like to eventually use the club to try and get a drag strip here in Canberra.

As I'm the President of the club, my business is the major sponsor www.copleyweb.com.au

Im currently developing the site through Copley Web Design, the site will be www.cdrc.com.au

If you would like to get on board as a member or a sponsor of the club, just PM me or check the web site in the upcoming weeks.

Cheers

Andrew

Well hired a little manual corolla and did the the run to Cotter Dam today. Nice drive. Went via Adelaide Drive, then Cotter Rd then down Paddy River Rd. Nice views at Stromolo and walked down to view Gilbraltar Falls on the way. Just gotta watch for roos and emus on the way back if you leave it a bit late. Then finished off he day with a dusk drive up to Telecom Tower. Real nice drive.

Sounds like you had a great day, should have let us know I was looking for an excuse to get out of the house.

Hi seventytwo, doubt whether it would have been enjoyable for you - you would've been wondering why I keep disappearing in your rear view mirror :3gears:

But I thought you were still in NT. Didn't know you were in the ACT now :bliss:

Anyway, maybe see you on the next Snowies cruise then?
