Changing Ute Diff Oil

Its simple as on the utes. But you do need a 15mm spanner for the drain bolt, and a 1 1/8in spanner for the fill bolt, (its a big bugger).

I just filled it till it just spilt out the filler hole. It took 1.7L.

Use this stuff.

You can actually pour it in straight out of the bottle with the pumpkin rear end.

do you just fill it till it starts to overflow from the fill hole up the top?

Sedan would be the same process im guessing, pretty straight forward

Yeah I just filled it up till it over flowed. It took 1.7L I think the handbook says its capacity was 1.65?

Sedan has IRS, this is live axle so there will be differences.

Thanks for the pics and details, even I could do that who doesn't know crap about mechanical stuff :spoton:. Oil was so black/navyish. 36000km on the clock.
