While I agree a custom tune is the way to go lets not forget that the factory tune is a generic tune.

Yes but based on standard cars, and complete with low boost, less than ideal timing and very rich air fuel ratio's.

The more power you get , the more the risk factor increases if things arn't correct for your car

im not gettin this hole flash tuning etc with the capa box... Now I know what the box is and what it does. can u get a custom tune without the capa flasher. then just have a digital boost eg. e-boost thing just to jack up n down the the psi.?? (like a wrx etc etc)

I'm pretty sure you can't as the factory computer doesn't like you manually f*cking around with boost and goes into safe mod which limits power. Or so I read somewhere.

you can raise the boost levels but you will run the risk of running lean without proper injector scaling and also the flash gives the tuner the ability to control spark and timing to create a safe tune. Plus the stock computer will hit boost cut at around 11psi

If you have your car was been "SNIPPER" tuned you don't need a Capa box and you can Lower the max boost using a E-Boost to control boost to a lower setting.

By having a "SNIPER" tune you also can't change maps at will unlees you buy the software/hardware.

Dont know if anyone is doing then in Sydney others may know.

Some one may be able tell you if it works (sniper) or not.
