I really like the look of what appears to be a white or silver (can someone clarify which?) instrument cluster inthe Territory these days.

Would it be feasible to put that in a Falcon? Can it be done without resetting all the counters?

I think white guages in a black dash look so much better. :crybaby:

The TT Ghia has a silver (brush stainless) look, but it is a high end instrument cluster (ie car with climate control). Therefore only suitable for use in an XR with climate control. The stock territory has a standard black facia type cluster.

I'm not sure if the territory type cluster will go straight in a BA, but should be OK in a BF. I think there is a difference between BA and BF ??? Maybe someone can clarify. Also you can't reset the the odometer beyond 100km travelled. Same for any cluster.

Robin.

They don't 'appear' to be different between BA & BF - have been wrong once before though.

Also with regards to changing clusters, doesn't the dealer set the new one to the existing odometer reading?

EDIT: Have you tried ASL Logistics Turbodude? They might be able to answer/help with regards to the facia

Yes, but that ability is lost after the cluster odometer reaches a set reading as Robin said.

On the new one? Wouldn't it have to be fitted with a WDS handy in any case?

If you want your original km's installed onto the new cluster you need to do it before the lock out distance is reached.

The odometer is changed with a WDS.

Sorry, that's what I was trying to say :fool:

I assume any cluster changes would be done by a ford dealer, therefore one would assume access to a WDS, hence changing it before the new odometer even reaches 1km.

See - clear as mud :spoton:

There's no reason why you couldn't fit it yourself.

You only need a dealer to set the odometer.
