When it comes to burgers I reckon the girth is more important than the height, as long as there's enough height to work with.

Slow cooker- decent one on special at Harris’s scarfe will be about $50- on low all day.

Ingredients in before work

yummy casserole at night

also if you’re pressed for time get mashed potato from woolies in the fridge section where the pizza bases are. It is pre made but real mash so it does the job fine. Dinner served in literally five mins.

thanks fluff - didnt know about the mashed potato thing that will help too.

Lift up doors is very handy and decent size

Easy to use temp and time controls

edit: review here of the fixed lid version

thanks rab will look into it, looks fancy.

Everything from Cole's
Just used soft round rolls for the bun and 17% fat beef mince
The cheese was "smoked" so probably not as good as it could have been with American cheese
I did make another burger for dinner, used 2 slices of cheese instead of 3
Still had 3 pattys but cooked the beef for slightly less time
The first burger I made was delicious
The second one was mouth orgasm stuff

went to Squire's Loft in Nunawading (a new one, as I've been to the one in Ballarat) for my b'day dinner and enjoyed one of their 100 day dry aged rib-eye-on-the-bone steaks cooked medium rare. Bloody delicious
