The SMB cat is $382 + GST.

The SMB dump pipe is $676 + GST.

What about the X-Force exhaust system, I've read good reports about them?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

When looking at exhaust upgrade options a few months back X-Force advised that their 3" S/S system incorporates a 3" hi-flow cat that flowed to 540 cfm.

As part of their R & D they apparently flow tested other so called free flow 3" cats such as Catco and Supercat and found that they varied from 400 - 450cfm. The stock cat was also tested and flowed to 350cfm.

So your X-Force system performed well then?

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

Yeh I'm happy with it :crybaby:

No before and after dyno readings to report however seat of pants difference was noticable throughout the rev range as reported by others that have chosen the system.

Dont quote me but I heard that the X-Force 3" system is only good for 270rwkw (it is on some exhaust shop website) as I was looking at buying this system for the price it is awesome. But when I heard this power figure I thought it must be wrong unless the australian made cat and mufflers they use are restrictive.

Can anyone enlighten me on this.

Brett.

According to X-Force themselves they are developing the 3.5" system with a 660cfm cat for use in 300+ rwkw "T"s as they believe this could be the limit for the 3" system.

I heard they were making the 3.5" system and I am interested.

Have you heard when it will be ready for purchase?

I wonder how loud and droney it will be though, if it's cheap though I may consider.

the size of the system isnt the problem, im one of a few guys making well into the 300 rwkw mark with STOCK exhaust. If they flowed the stock cat @350 cfm and there big cat at 550 or 560 then on my bench there modded one would flow 490 odd as there figure on the stock one is some 50 cfm more then on mine. The SMB one flows 660 on mine. On theres it would be over 700........
