whats the bodyroll going to be like while drifting

<{POST_SNAPBACK}>

I will tell you in a few weeks.

I will most likely sell the house in the next 18months, so this is a temp fix so I do not need to park in the street. I will go SSSSSL's as soon as I move, I promise :msm:

While it is high, apparently it is back to STOCK height (although it does look higher) :msm:

I am hoping the Koni's will make the car more drivable, I guess I will find out what it is like on the track soon.

Now where did I put my sand tyres and snatchem strap :pinch:

well I think it has advantages

specially

when getting over speed humps/bumps..

You won't have to slow down BUT the clubbies and ning nings will :msm:

19's with stock ride height probably would have looked better and made scrapping less likely

The better fix? Bigger rims with only a 5 point change the tyre profile....

Would give you about an inch of extra diameter, or half an inch in ground clearance....

Would have cost about the same, plus the car would now look about 100 times better....

But then again, you do more burnouts than an entire street meet, so this was probably the safer option.

Well I am back to going over speedhumps without slowing down to a crawl, and the car does not scrape at all.

There is heaps less body roll due to the stiffer springs and Koni's, so I figure it was worth it.

I did SERIOUSLY consider the 19", but I have never bought aftermarket wheels for a car as I like all go and no show, I do also tend to use up tyres, 17" are much cheaper.

I do not regret the decision for a minute, I am sure others who are sufferring the Grind will do the same.

Dont worry about everyone flaming ya, just look at the bright side you can always run and hide in between your wheel arches and tyres.
