Need some help,

Since my "T" is my first turbo car, I need some advice on a strange noise I hear occasionally. Car is booked in for a service and some warranty work next week and I don't want to appear completely ignorant and would like to have some knowledge behind me.

Noise occurs when accelerating hard enough from take off for the turbo to start to spool up and then having to back off suddenly for traffic etc. It's sounds like a very loud flutter on decceleration. Is it possibly wastegate flutter or a heat shield rattle? I have checked the shields and they appear OK.

Thanks for any advice.

that's what its meant to do..... the gobble bobble sound/flutter is from your waste gate and it should be there.... part and parcel of having a turbo :spoton: should only happen when your up it though, and the back of??

Actually a sh*tload easier to get it going off in a manual.

My record is 34 consecutive sneezes. 1 per upshift.

Yeah, that's the way

Wait till you have it modified, then you'll really hear it and everyone else around you. sounds sweet.
