Can I just suggest though ... you are the voice of the CAPA Edit here ... and quite a few potential customers would be put off by your attitude ... perhaps even your arrogance with statements like above ... I have seen good things from the Edit so far ... your posts add little value most of the time :ermm:

Guys, I've had enough of this back and forward posting this is what we measured yesterday on our dyno dynamics dyno in shoot 6 mode, the test car was an xr6t manual ute with an APS exhaust system, cold air inlet, and Unichip computer, very basic and common mods for an XR6T.

RPM RWKW's Inj Duty Cycle A/F ratio Boost PSI

4500 192 85% 13.6:1 10.5

As you can clearly see the air fuel ratio is very lean and is already running 85% duty cycle at 4500 RPM.

We nearly aborted the rest of the dyno run because of the dangerously lean air fuel ratio though wanted to show you how lean these air fuel ratio figures are by 4500 rpm, and by 5000 RPM the air fuel ratio is beyond being ridiculous.

Now I'm sure it's possible for another engineering test to show marginally different air fuel ratio, power, inj duty cycle, and boost pressure though not to any significant extent.

look at the runs from herrods 251 rwkw on a dd dyno is this dyno wrong? :sofa:

or is crazy f6 's car a fudged dyno run look at your site and then ask him weather or not pretzels did the same numbers +4kw

peter and suporters yes dyno dynamics dyno's can be fudged easily but you cant fudge a mainline dynolog , dyno logic and almost a dts!

Turbos and fuel are two areas that require specialist advice - dont assume that you can just keep uping boost and all will be OK. It doesnt work like that. This topic has been dealt with in other detailed threads for those that want to research the issue.

IMO anyone wishing to mod their car above standard should carefully weigh up all of the options BEFORE undertaking the mod. There are some tuners who do a great job and there are other tuners in it for a quick buck. Work out which one suits you.

With all the flaming going on, the real topic is masked. So in order to keep this topic alive cut the "mines better than yours" and stick to the facts.

Its got nothing to do with me if Pete had an Edit incident today. Im sure he will get over it, he runs a top notch show, and good on him and the supporters. I wish em all well! With time........comes results.

The flames and crap that go on in this forum are beyond belief.

Threads continue to degrade into personal slanging matches because moderators do not moderate threads properly and allow stuff like this to happen. The losers are the people looking for geniune information as it gets lost in the mess of personal insults.
