Just noticed that the PAC Performance Website now lists a "Stage 1 - 12 sec package" for the XR6 Turbo from $3500. :censored:

Not much detail, just seems to be a bigger intercooler, chip, some cold air and a dyno tune. No exhaust mods.

I guess the best thing for us is, competition drives down the profit margins which makes it cheaper for us...

Maybe soon we can have a 10sec rocket for $5K

MODS: If this is classed as an advert please remove it!!

They've made some of australias fastest street registered cars so I would imagine they'd have a fairly good idea on how to tune up the T for some decent hp. Would be interesting to see what they've done and how they did it.

I think one of the original PAC cars was in getting the Valve Springs done at Spiro's in Sydney while I was there, I am not entirely sure on that. It was a phantom 'T', maybe Spiro can spread some light on it if he worked on the car for them.

Just rang them up.... apparently it's a Haltech (sp?) chip....

40% larger intercooler than stock that bolts on to the existing mounts.

Says they're working on a package with larger injectors, fuel pump etc, but thinks that the stock exhaust is good for up to 400hp (roughly 300kw). Sounds very similar to what Chiptorque, Nizpro and APS have already suggested.
