newxr Member 279 Member For: 21y 3m 5d Posted 29/06/04 01:01 AM Share Posted 29/06/04 01:01 AM I have never been to the strip - not even as a spectator (I will  for all of you). I am not sure if I would even fit in - unmodified N/A XR6 etc etc but I would like to know if there are people who have taken unmoded cars to the strip to see how quick they can be relative to the figures quoted in the press. I know this probably a stupid question but I would like to know if people like me with stock (not fast) cars are welcome at the stripsnewxr Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11557-drag-strips/ Share on other sites

But I did improve my own times. It is a very very addictive sport, but also heaps of fun CheersPSI Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11557-drag-strips/#findComment-138544 Share on other sites

Where are you located? as there is probably a bunch of us planning an event you could attend & have some help from more experienced folk. Good luck & get amongst it, dont forget you can legally do a big skid, yahoo LOLScotty Link to comment https://www.fordxr6turbo.com/forum/topic/11557-drag-strips/#findComment-138575 Share on other sites
