I we just had a drive in a territory ghia tonight and all I can say is for a large awd wagon it feels and rides like a car. it is fitted out nicely and is very verstile in the way the centre seats fold rigght down to make the floor flat with only one lever to do each side of the split seat.

With the 182 kw motor it feels strong but it would be a delight in turbo.

The front seat and leg room is a delight as well.

If it suited what we need for our second car I would order it now.

we need a ute with four doors for the workshop.

Ian

Ford have enother winner here.

We (swmbo and me) drove a ghia a week or so ago. I agree with your thoughts, the car is awesome. We could be getting a new car in 12 months or so and at this stage we will be trading the Subaru in on a Territory.

Geea.

That what we are thinking too Ian. l hope Ford can keep the quality up on these things and by the time the Turbo is released, have a 5spd auto as standard. That would be a very tempting car for us with young kids.

Did the Terrotory you flogged, sorry drove, have the 3rd row seats? if so, did they look suitable for average adults?

I had a overnight test drive of a Ghia last night. Very impressed, but did miss the power of the T...... that's my only whinge. But Kirsty loves it, she doesnt need the grunt of a T, so id say we will be ordering it once a few problems are sorted out.

The RWD we had was fitted with a third row seat, and they's have to be very small adults to comfortably fit in the back. It would be very uncomfortable on a long trip id say. But you can adjust the "second row" seats, which does give more leg room for the third row. Bear in mind, im 6 ft 2, and so is most of my family, so we arent exactly average.

I was impressed, it drove very well, I had HEAPS of headroom which is rare for a bloke as big as me! Plenty of space, and cup holder city!

Ha ha, your a comedian Mick. They havent been able to fix brake shudder, shunt or stalling so you may be waiting a while. :spoton: What problems are you reffering to?

Well the demo's had a few niggling things (the LHR door didnt lock at all, the headlight on chime played up on the other Territory), im going to wait until September till I order hers. It was a real "outdoors" car too, I might wait until the weather warms up a bit, that way we can use it to its full potential. They were not major problems by any means.

Also if I wait until a few more are lying around in the lots, the power of bargaining is much stronger.

There are some other problems, but they are more personal. Praying they will be cleared up by September also. Might have a big party in September to celebrate if all goes well! :spoton: All invited of course!
