On my Auto T, you definately hear something when you quickly back-off the throttle. But I am not convinced that it's the BOV. It certainly does not sound like a sneeze, more like a Rattle Gun.

Is this the BOV or the wastegate closing???

Thanks

Damn...you learn something every day. I thought a blow off valve prevented you from sh*tting your pants after eating too many onions at a Barbie

Pretty much, block the return hose and vent the bov. To prevent it from sounding sh*thouse put a mini breather over the end or what I did was a rubber stopper with a hole drilled in it. Works a treat.

Pics Please!!? Sounds like fun, Mine will make a little noise if I lift off the throttle mid boost-especially in first (auto) from the lights.

Do a search dude, there is a bunch of in-depth posts about modding the BOV, like the chair-leg cap mod XRTPSI is talking about. Pretty idiot proof instructions on how to do it all
