  1. Its constant when the caliper is on, but once removed it goes away, I've been reading it could be the dimples on the rotor causing it. I'm waiting on new rotors to arrive. The nosie changes pitch slightly when brakes are pressed
  2. Thanks for that, I will order new clips and see if it makes any difference as for the bearing in process I have done around 5000km since they were changed
  3. Thanks for your reply would you happen to know who sells uprated anti rattle clips, im happy to give it a go. The discs are rdas and not to overall impressed with them
  4. Hi all im hoping anyone can guide me as I've done everything and still haven't been successful fixing the issue but narrowing it down. When I was driving down the road at around 60km/h I could hear a ticking down coming from both rear wheel area. The nosie changes pitch while braking. After pulling everything off and inspecting the brakes I could not see anything of intrest. Brakes I have a re slotted discs and pads. I've lubricate all the brakes components with anti squeal stuff with no success. Once I removed the backing plate of the brake pads the noises disappeared when driving down the street at 60km/h but upon pressing the brakes it re appears. I than further more removed the brake shims thinking it was them rubbing against something though they were not the problem as ti ticking/clicking noise is still upon braking Furthermore this started once the the discs and braking system was upgraded to slotted discs etc few weeks back Im wondering if anyone has any suggestions, I will be forever grateful Car is a 2006 bf xr6t sedan
  5. Sorry for late replies So far all the the items listed have been changed arms: upper arms, lower control arms, trailing blade arm shocks, bump stops & sway bar link rods, Rear wheel bearings. The Rear end cradle has been removed. Everything greased, the springs re seated. Noise stopped for about a week but has returned. I have given up on this car does anyone have any idea they can through at me. thanks I will upload a link of the sound the car makes
  6. Thanks for your reply when I bounce it, I have to bounce it pretty hard for the noise to appear
  7. Just driving on the road, not going over speed humps or pot holes. The noise is also present if I go to the back and bounce the rear, I can hear a metallic creak/squeak
  8. Hi if anyone can help me it will be great as I'm looking my mind. I've recently bought a bf xr6t and have a rear suspension squeak. So far I've changed all the arms: upper arms, lower control arms, trailing blade arm shocks, bump stops & sway bar link rods. There is still a squeak when driving on the road. It sounds like a old rusty bed. Someone told me it won't be the diff bushes as it will make a clunk noise. Can anyone please help guide me what else I can try to do to fix the problem.
