  1. Yeah it was the inside I was asking about sorry. I already have rolled guards. Cheers.
  2. I know it's going to be very close but does anyone know if a 18x9.5 +27 off set wheel will fit the front of a ba Ute? I know a +25 will fit but is close, just wondering if anyone has fit a +27?
  3. Just an update on this. H7 and an H4 globe do not have the same spaced prongs. There is a genuine adapter that you can buy, seems mine was taken off the plug. Yes I have an H4 plug with two wires in it for the high beam and it's factory, but the plug doesn't fit the h7 globe without the adapter.
  4. Yeah strange. The h7 globes I bought have the two prongs closer together than the low/high beams. Maybe I bought the wrong globes. I'll have to recheck. Cheers, mate.
  5. Hi there, I've done a search but I can't find anything. My 2003 BA XR6 turbo ute has an H4 plug for the high beam globes. Did all the research and saw that they take an H7, bought some new globes and they fit perfectly in the headlight but went to plug them in and no go. It did have some stuffed HID globes in there before, but they were just jimmied to fit with spade connectors, it looks like this is the original plug. I know some bikes run an adaptor, is this something that Falcons do or has someone just done a really good job of fitting a different plug to my wiring? Cheers, Rob.
  6. Cheers mate. I've only had the car for six months, all the work was done previously so I'll Loctite them asap. Thanks a lot.
  7. Hey, did a bit of a search but couldn't find anything. Has anyone had the bolts come loose where their tail shaft meets the diff. The smaller 8mm head bolts facing towards the front of the car? I just found three of them loose and one completely missing, it was only brought to my attention because one of the half Moon spacers was flicking up and hitting the fuel tank strap. I managed to borrow a spanner off a tradie nearby and he mentioned that his xr used to do it all the time. Time for a bit of Loctite?
  8. Just as a follow up to this, on another forum someone was able to give further info on the revision numbers which confirm my box is a BA NA box. "you've decoded the part number right so far, first part is date code. 3R23 2003 (BA), a 5R29 is 2005 BF. 7003 manual trans. the E is the subtype, and B minor revision of that type. the 6-speeds should be... G N/A 6's H or K Turbo 6's F or J V8's A T5 n/a 6's in utes B T5 n/a 6's with ABS in utes C T5 turbo 6's in utes D was the TR3650 for V8's E T5 n/a 6's in sedans."
  9. Ah yes the AE is the revision level not the EB. My bad. Main thing for me is I know it's 26 spline input shaft. Cheers.
  10. Thanks for that @k31th. I think you're right in that it's just the 6 speed from the BA series 2. As far as I can find the input shafts for both the NA and turbo gearbox are the same, I need a new clutch and wanted to make sure I wasn't ordering the wrong one. I managed to find a Tremec Service Bulletin which has a description helping to decipher the tag. Seems the "EB" is the revision level and the rest is part numbers and manufacturing dates etc. Although it still doesn't help me to work out exactly which gearbox I have it may be useful and help others as well. I'll attach it once I figure out how. To find the Service Bulletin go to https://www.tremec.com/literatura.php and search for trtb05007 Cheers.
  11. G'day. Can anyone tell me if it's possible to identify whether a T56 is from a turbo or naturally aspirated via the ID tag on the gearbox? I have a 6 speed in my "originally 5 speed" BA and am unsure. Tag reads as: TUET4928 AE J3042 3R23-7003-EB 00550 Cheers.
