it was pretty sudden, however its been like this for a good few months now. I can’t really think of any events up towards it

Hello all, I have a bf xr6 turbo that currently has a pretty bad misfire in cylinder 1, and im completely unsure of what it may be. I have replaced the spark plugs and coil pack however made no difference. Its really bad on a cold start idle, but when it warms up its a little better. After around 2-2.5k revs cyl 1 cuts back in, and I also have no problems with temp so head gasket feels ruled out. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know

im more or less worried if im dropping the trans just for it to not be a problem, but ig that's all I can do

it seems to be that its not even knocking anymore, however it was quite an audible knock last night so im not sure whats happening

sorry meant if it does keep knocking, what could this mean?

by chance it doesnt keep knocking when putting some load on the transmission, what could that potentially mean? either way, the transmission making this noise is practically I <3 Bananased right?

hello all. ive recently noticed my zf6 transmission from my bf mk1 turbo knocking/rattling when put into reverse. not sure what problem this is, the car is warmed up pretty well however it is cold outside still but doubt this comes into play. anyone know what it could be? cheers

was trying to fix my headunit earlier and pulled out a few of the main plugs, however since putting it back in place all my dash lights are on, speedo and revs dont work, temp doesnt work etc etc. anyone know what this could be? I unplugged two plugs and couldnt get a third out

hey guys, my head unit keeps turning on and off randomly and everytime it comes back on it pops up saying security code error and then goes back to normal for whatever period of time till it turns off again. my car is a 06 bf falcon. any suggestions on how to fix? killing me with out aircon in this heat, cheers

hey guys, I own a 06 turbo bf mk1 sedan, and have recently noticed some strange noises. when the car is warming up, a rattling can be heard and its audible when sitting inside the car, however a tick happens in the engine bay and said noise pretty much disappears. I also discovered now a rattling noise when chucking my transmission into reverse. any suggestions what these could be? cheers

I have a e85 tune but run 98 pre much daily, would that make any difference?

is there any way to minimise the motor from sh*tting itself? like for example more cooling or whatever.

when u mean well above the safety area, do you mean pushing 343kw is already a risk with a mk1 engine?

hey guys, was just wanting to ask if its risky to push more power out of my 06 bf mk1? im running 16psi on stock turbo w a flapper mod pushing 460 hp, around 217k kms on engine, but have wanting to upgrade the turbo to potentially a pulsar gtx and get an external waste gate. with the upgrades I was aiming for at least the 500 hp mark and maybe 17 or 18 psi to achieve that. is there a risk to any of this as I know mk1 have weaker internals e.g rods. if anyone can give some insight I would appreciate it. cheers :)
