  1. Please call us mate , a lot easier and faster answer for you this way.
  2. The 1200 is an upgraded version of the 1000 cooler , it has more capacity in cooling to handle bigger boost .The fitting is not much more difficult than the 1000 cooler . The 1800 hp 100mm unit requires some cutting to fit . The more cutting you do the higher off the ground it will sit . Some comprimises have to be made .TRP uses the off the shelf 1800 hp unit .

  6. All plenums come with vaccum fittings and studs/nuts as standard . as of a few months ago all plenums now come COMPLETE with brake booster extension hose , vaccum line and there is an option when purchasing to buy a plug in loom ($75). We offer this as an option as many of you guys prefer to solder the wiring (we supply free of charge) as it keeps the total cost of the unit down . ih8toads , our powdercoating process has changed , so you can use the gasket now as well . As for the beer , I highly recommend it when working on cars . possum , sorry bout the tbody flange holes , we had a tap break in the CNC and only noticed the day after we sent yours .
  7. V8 supercars run 5 -6 odd degrees depending on track . we started with 4.5 , but pulled it down to 3.5 and could have taken more out . We are going carbon brakes and carbon panels , trying to pull out 200 odd kgs as the car will not be used for V8 racing no more . An interesting fact from the saturday . We did x3 5 lap runs . Tyres had a 2-3 lap window due to the nature and moving around of the rubber . Jose was still trying to find his feet in the first x2 sessions and flat spotted x 4 of them - rubbish bin . x2 degregaded and were stuffed . All up out of the x12 tyres we saved x 6 used ones . But get this - we were lucky to have Dunlop sponsor us 20 tyres @ $740 each ( RRP we were told ) . total used $8880 for just 15 laps - ouchhhhhhh , imagine if we were there on friday and used all the alocated ones .... Any one can build a car , but to race and maintain it is another thing . Thank you for the support DUNLOP Motorsports .
  8. THERE WERE A LOT OF DOUBTERS WITH ONLY 10 WEEKS TO GET IT TOGETHER WITH ALL THE OTHER THINGS GOING ON AROUND US . THE CAR PERFORMED FLAWLESSLY WITH ABSOLUTELY NO PROBLEMS AND LEFT THE TRACK IN PERFECT CONDIDITON . ALL POWER AND TORQUE FIGURES WERE ACHIEVED FIRST GO . WE MADE A DIFF GEAR SWAP FRIDAY MORNING AS WE CALCULATED THAT WE WOULD RUN OUT OF RPMS HALF WAY DOWN THE MAIN STRAIGHT . 3.0 WENT IN THE ASS END , BUT WE NEEDED MORE LIKE A 2.6 - 1 RATIO . FIRST TEST SESSION SHOWED THAT THE CAR MADE WAY TOO MUCH TORQUE AND WAY TOO MUCH FRONT WHEEL CAMBER AS IT TORE THE INSIDE OF THE TIRES TO SHREDS . STILL A 1.41.50 LAP TIME WAS ACHIEVED AFTER 5 LAPS AFTER NO TESTING. SECOND SESSION - A ROLL CENTRE ADJUSTMENT WITH FRONT CAMBER PULLED OUT WE CHOPPED OFF 1.5 SECONDS AND NEARLY DIPPED INTO THE 1.39S . THE FINAL SESSION WE PULLED OUT SOME POWER IN THE MID CORNER AREAS TO DECREASE TORQUE AND SOME TIRE PRESSURE ADJUSTMENTS WERE MADE . WE SUCCESSFULLY PULLED OUT MORE PERFORMANCE EVEN THOUGH THE TRACK LOST SOME 2-3 SECONDS PER LAP DUE TO THE COLDER TRACK SURFACE , AND STILL MANAGED A 1.40 SECOND LAP . A VERY SUCCESSFUL OUTING WITH ONLY 15 LAPS .
  9. Brad there are many different brands to choose from , and the truth of the matter is , that the majority of them will easily make 400 rwkws , some at less boost than others . The good intercooler has to have a good combination of these 4 factors . Good air temp , minimal pressure drop , fast recovery and light weight . Price and asthetic appeal are some important factors as well . Some coolers excel in one of these factors , whilst other are better in another . Tube and fin vs bar and plate . Its a million $ question , and you will not find the answer on these forums . there are chinese bar and plates we sell , and we also have the super expensive API USA bar and plate cores ( $1000 a core minimum ) . also chinese , Japanese tube and fins , Korean and at least 10 manufacturers in Europe and surrounding countries alone . ( not to forget our aussie PWR and ADRAD boys ) . Just because a cooler has slightly higher air temp , it does not mean anything . It might make more power , it could be less laggy and come on boost earlier , it might make double the power of a cooler that has better cooling ?? Here is my personal real time example , this car has uses an extensive data log system . My 9.2 @ 150 mph RX3 uses an early cut down tube and fin , it sees 85 - 95 air temp at the end of the track @ 38 psi ( depending on ambient ) . We put in a new bigger intercooler recently ( tried something ) to drop air temps , and the car lost 30 Hp @ the wheels and 2 mph @ the track . We used a tall but narrow bar and plate core , the reason for the better air temp , was that it had more pressure drop . More pressure drop meant the air stayed in the core longer and cooled better , but the end result was not a faster time . The core was not correct , so we will try again . I am about to try out some big doolar bar and plates soon , along with our new heavily finned 09 tube and fins , and hopefully can achieve better air temps , less pressure drop and a better time ( 8.9 sec ) . car is making 850 - 870 flywheel . We have seen many different fluctuations in results . This is mainly put down to rivalry in the industry , as each individual wants to put his product first . Best to choose the one that appeals most to you , suits your budget , and might be better to ask this question to your tuner , not the inexperienced forum members .

    330 Rwkw

a\it . 03XR6T The filter supplied will flow aprox 700hp , more than the OEM turbo can take . Had a similar size filter on my T66 Turbo ( 3.5 inch snout) FJ20 Mazda 808 few years ago , it made 550 hp @ rear wheels at that time . Best way to test is to take it off on the dyno , and check difference.
