  1. Generally speaking, turbos should run on minimum 98, e85 runs cooler and get higher figures, however, to get your car tuned to e85, you need both the pump and injectors to suit e85, with my setup, 300kw on 98, would get like 350kw on e85, but that would be a good $1000 to convert to e85, 91 is pretty much the lowest octane rating a car can run at, e10 is 91 with I believe upto 10% ethanol, neither I would recommend running with turbo, but, that's me.
  2. I honestly wanted to do this at the beginning of my build, but I thought it was going to cost a lot more than it actually did cost me, ah well, the joys of ignorance
  3. So, some of you might have read about my sump issue, well after being away for work for the last 3 weeks I have gone and fixed the issue, I have had a -10 aluminium bung welded onto my sump, and fitted a braided line drain setup, thanks to the guys at golebys. Please disregard the dirty area, been having power steering issues, which looks like a possible electronic power steering system upgrade might be moved up sooner than later
  4. Na, I just trimmed a little off the subframe pin to give me a little extra room, ran it past a mechanic mate first, who approved such dodginess
  5. And after much blood, sweet and profanity, the sump is out, do not recommend, 0/10, don't ever want to do it again
  6. So, I did a slight dodgy, subframe undone, now the fun part of getting sump out, yay
  7. I got a 24mm deep impact socket, and the front pin is like 10mm too long, so my socket is too short, and the spanners I have are 21, than 25, no 24mm spanner
  8. Well, it looks like I won't be able to do the subframe, as I don't have a long enough socket nor a spanner the right size.
  9. You sure about that, got some big ass nuts that my rattle gun can't seem to undo
  10. Na, no hoist, all shed, I only have an engine hoist
  11. So just undo the front few bolts in the sub frame?, does this include the sway bar?
  12. Hey all, I'm hoping to be able to get some help, I need to take my sump off for reasons, and I don't want to take the engine out, is there a trick to getting it out?, I have the sump off the engine, but not out, I have the engine lifted up, the gearbox lifted up a little, but the sump still seems to want an extra couple of inches before it will slide out
  13. Well I seem the be the butt of jokes right now
  14. Hey all, random ass question that I haven't been able to find the answer for, I'm looking at getting a sz territory for a particular build (need to find the right territory for this build), but I'm just wondering, is the diff cradle the same as a fg?, and also, is there any difference between fg and sz in regards to the length of things between the gearbox and diff?, 2 questions I've been trying to find answers for that I can't seem to find the answer for, thanks for any help you can provide.
  15. I'm sure there's been plenty of people who have turboed a territory. Actually thinking about getting a newer territory and dumping everything from mine to it.
  16. Half the fun is doing the work mate, anyone can buy a car turboed already, doing the work and turboing it is fun
  17. Hey all, misses just got a 08 territory, just an st, but she wants me to do a +t on it like I did to my fg, I know the basics on how to do everything, but I'm just curious if the sy is based on the b series or f series, and exhaust system, does it run the same pattern as a b series, or go custom?, I've also got a bf with the good ol 4 speed, will that fit the sy territory, or is there too many differences?
  18. Thanks mate, been trying to see if it does on here, but all I seem to find is people saying the fg will fit a bf, but that was all
  19. @k31th you seem like you know your stuff, just curious, will a bf rear cradle fit into an fg?, and if so, is it easy or is there a lot to do to modify it?
  20. Thanks mate, so basically, rear sway bar doesn't really need to be upgraded, but can do everything else
  21. Thanks for the list mate, any particular brand to avoid/look for?
  22. Thanks, so no other upgrades besides those, and already do plan on pretty much all that
  23. Hey all, My rear end is needing some attention after almost 12 months of having my +t done, and am going to get a new cradle to make things a little quicker to get back on the road, however, I'm not really wanting to put stock parts on it, so I was wondering if there was any aftermarket upgrade parts that I could get to upgrade the handling and make adjustments, I will be looking at a full coilover suspension setup, this is more with the parts on the cradle.
  24. Honestly, if you're handy with a set of tools, doing the conversion isn't that hard
