  1. That's what I was thinking. I might take it to a suspension place to get them to give it a look
  2. I just got a pair of GT Gas shocks, they're not shortened. Damn, so that's the problem?
  3. Hey guys, I installed some Monroe GT Gas shocks and King Ultra Low springs a while back and I'm just curious as to if the height is right. I've seen pictures with other people's setups on the same wheel size (17inch) and theirs sit lower than mine. Just wondering if this is right or did I do something wrong? Cheers.
  4. Hey guys, So I've enquired with my local tuner about getting a 'fart' in between shifts on my 4spd and was wondering if anyone else has made this possible. My tuner tried, he said the car will do it but it doesn't make any noise. Is there something I am missing that I can inform him about? I like the sound of this and apparently it can reduce stress on the box, hence why I am after this option if possible. Cheers.
  5. sorry for taking so long to reply. But nah, I'm going to get them reset anyway, for cheaper price, too. He claimed 5inches, but in the photo they did not look 5inches. Doesn't matter now anyway, cheers.
  6. Hey all, I wanted to post this in the ute thread but don't think it gets much replies. I have a BA XR6T ute and want to lower the rear with lowered leaf springs, seller claims approx 5inch lower. I have standard rear shocks and standard 17inch wheels. Will my shock mount rub? I'm getting mixed messages as people say it's only lowering blocks that cause this, not lowered leafs. Clarity on this would be appreciated. Cheers
  7. Hey all, I have a ba turbo with stock shocks and 17inch wheels. What would the lowest king spring I'll be able to use? Also, I'm thinking about using some lowering blocks for the back as a temp setup before resetting and am wondering how low I could go in the back with the same setup? Cheers
  8. I understand running stock injectors near 100% duty cycle is bad anyway, so bigger one's will be good nonetheless. I'm just wanting to get around 260-270rwkw - that's worth the purchase imo
  9. Hey all, So my BA turbo ute is booked in to get a tune next Friday and the tuner said he has some 60lb injectors if I want to put them in. Right now I have a bigger cooler, high flow cat with 3inch exhaust and a cai. He reckons that without the injectors I'll be likely to get around 240rwkw, but I'm just wondering what sort of power increase I would get from the injector upgrade, as I'm trying to figure out if it's worth it. Car has 220xxx k's, is a 4 speed auto (has trans cooler) Cheers.
  10. Cheers mate for the help, I'll try it out tomorrow and report back.
  11. I'll wait for that photo before I go messing around. Cheers mate I found this, this is definitely blocked
  12. Sorry for the long wait, car was getting fixed
  13. The only one I can find is the one that goes into the bov, but it seems way too big in diameter to be hooked up to the small brass piece on the back of the boost gauge. Am I missing something?
  14. Apologies for the noob question. I have a ba xr6t and a boost gauge to install, yet I have no bov. I was wondering where to install the t piece as usually it would be connected through the vacuum line from the bov if I'm correct. But since I have no bov, I'm lost
