ty for your help but I found the problem it was the vacuum hose for the fuel regulator had a small split in it

question if you put to much pressure into the actuator does it leak air out of the side like a release valve or should it hold pressure

<<<<<<<<<<<ok I changed my picture the circle I put on it is the spot that is loose either the rod or the connecter are loose

the bit that connects to the back of the turbo not the fat end but the skinny end

I just did a blow test on the actuator and the end of it feels loose when you blow it all the way and a little loose when it is in

I just checked and don't sound rattily it looks like a venom 2 1/2 inch twin exhaust is in it oh and its only under load

when I bought the car 7 years ago never had a problem 6 months ago it starter doing the splatter thing oh and it has a muffler delete

well it has an after market intercooler and a pod filter cold box in it but it is stock other than that

hi I'm having a problem with my 240kw Barra she drives good and changes gears normal up to 3 to 4k runs 6psi has no folt codes then when it hits 3 to 4k revs the motor splutters and the 6 psi turns to 12 psi well the gauge goes up to 12 then the motor runs rough and and smells lean I don't get an engine light come on then I turn it off and restart it and it runs normal I've replaced the plugs twice the coils 2 tps sensor turbo solenoid if you could help would be great thank you in advance

Hi OK ill explain as best as I can some times when I drive my car it feels like it doesn't want to stop the engine revs at about 1200 rpm till I come to a complete stop then when I tap the accelerator it takes off and the other night the engine light came on and the engine started to shudder so I took it to a mechanic and he scanned it and there was nothing logged seems like the car is making a lire out of me any help would be appreciated

hi im new I have a question what is the difference between 2003 xr6 and a 2003 xr6 turbo 4 speed transmission I've been researching but I keep coming up empty ive got a noise like a sheesh when I rev the engine and when it heats up it will slip and wont go into gear hope you can help thanks
