Yeh I think you’re right mate , buying new wheels is going to be the best option 

so if I go to 20 inch what’s the best set up for the Ute 

what set up are you running, I obviously don’t want Tyres scrubbing, a set up that fills the guards would be good

I want to know if anyone has had there alloys cut and widened , I have the FG limited edition ute and I think the factory wheels look great , so I would like to keep them , but of course I want to go wider on the back something like a 285 or 95

Has anyone here had this done

I have just made some mods to my FG recently like this year and these were the cost for me

 

HDI intercooler + hard piping , HDI intake , HDI battery relocate  $1250

Custom exhaust 4" down pipe hi flow cat , 3 1/2" to the back   $1800

Xspurt 1000cc injectors                                                         $ 750

Walbro 255                                                                           $130

So I am reading the temperatures of a lufi revolution X which plugs into the obi port water temp at 105 was only reading 1/2 way on the dash which I thought was odd

yes 341kw was made the tuning was done by Scott Hoffman in Brisbane On a hub Dyno I wasn’t expecting that much but happy with the outcome car is running well 

am in the process of setting temperature alarms on the lufi

had the tune done the other day went well he said the engine was healthy and managed to get 460hp

do you guys know what are dangerous temperatures for water temp and exhaust temp yesterday water got to 105 and exhaust got to 855 are these in the safe range ?

So I am putting in a Walbro 255 in my fg and just after a bit of help when installing the new pump and this is where I am at it looks like you have to replace the outlet hose from the new pump ?

what hose is recommended for this ? 
mans anything else I need to know

I am doing very similar mods to mine 4" dump went in the other day I have ordered the xspurt 1000cc injectors and 255 fuel pump to go in and booked in for tune next week so yes its hard but have been driving off boost until tune     so far so good 

K31th I am going to tune on E85 dose this mean I cant fuel up with 98 at all ?     the guys recon 330 rwkw

mate I was lucky enough to buy the car with an external cooler already on he said it cost him $800 I think he said PWR brand or something like that it look good quality it’s in today for the exhaust and I managed to find a tuner a mate who has fast cars put me on to him Scotty Hoffman he’s in Brisbane so it’s book with him next week

What about the x4 flash tuner you can get with injectors for about $1500 is this a good option or are you better getting a Dyno tune ?

2013 FG XR6T  auto

Well guys I am a new member here I absolutely love this FG I have brought what a great car I am currently doing mods and am after advice on a few things Firstly I have put in a intercooler and air intake on the turbo side it is booked in this week to get a exhaust at Kuluin mufflers on the sunny coast 4" dump Hi flow cat and 3 1/2" from there , my question is do I need a tune directly after this work? 

The last thing I want to do is put in some new injectors and get the tune ( who on the sunny coast or Brisbane is good tuning these beasts?)

What power will this set up make ?
